POSTPONED: 2CELLOS MANILA SHOW

Official Update – January 19, 2012: Due to unforeseen circumstances, 2CELLOS will no longer be able to perform in Manila on Friday 20 January 2012. The performance will be rescheduled for a later date. Further details to be announced soon. 

GB Productions Asia announced that a few minutes ago on their website that the 2Cellos will not be coming to Manila on the pre-scheduled show of January 20, 2012 at NPAT Resorts World. I was advised however, that the GB Productions management and 2Cellos management will soon announce the final details of the show.

My heart fell with the news as I was already very excited to meet Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser as well as watch their show supposedly tomorrow. I guess these guys are pretty much in demand all over as I have mentioned in my earlier blog that the 2Cellos are going to appear on Glee this January 31. Nevertheless, it is still assured as per my source from GB Productions Asia that the 2Cellos will really be performing at a later date in Manila soon.

2CELLOS APPEARING ON GLEE

Wow! Just about 10 minutes ago, Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic of 2CELLOS posted a video preview of Glee's upcoming episode. Yes, the King of Pop reigns on an all-new "Glee" to be aired Tuesday, January 31 on Fox. This is following the viral news spreading on the net that 2CELLOS are set to perform on the hit TV series!

2CELLOS is also slated to perform in Manila on January 20, 2012 for a one night show produced by GB Productions Asia with co-presenters Catalyst Revolution Inc., Time, Airgurus, Sony Music Philippines and Ivory Records. These YouTube sensations have been very busy lately!

Celebrating the music of Michael Jackson, the rivalry between groups New Directions and the Warblers intensifies as they go towards Regionals. 2CELLOS will be performing Smooth Criminal with Santana & Sebastian.

Yahoo reports: New York, Jan. 18, 2012 / PRNewswire/ -- On January 31st the 2CELLOS (Sony Masterworks) will make their debut on Fox' hit TV series Glee at 8:00 - 9:00 PM ET/PT on FOX. They will perform their signature version of "Smooth Criminal" with Santana (Naya Rivera) and Sebastian (Grant Gustin) in the show's special tribute episode to the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson.
